A competition between the three military ROTC departments on campus  – Farrand Field – 2016:

For the third consecutive year the Golden Buffalo Battalion took home first place against CU Boulder Air Force, Navy and Marine Corps ROTC in the 2016 Tri-Military Service Competition. This year’s competition was held on CU Boulder’s Farrand Field and featured over three hundred participants and spectators, including a 70-person contingent from the Mexican Armed Forces.

The seven events that made up the competition required the participating Cadets and Midshipmen to put forth their best effort to meet the high physical and mental demands.

Events included a 200m log carry, 200m litter carry, sprint relay, circuit station, and tug-of-war.
