The Army ROTC Department at the University of Colorado Boulder has commissioned another seven Cadets during the summer of 2022.

The summer ceremonies are typically held in the Cadet Lounge within the Army ROTC offices inside Folsom Stadium on the second floor by Gate 1. Cadets are commissioned at different times throughout the summer months due to their date of graduation or their date of completion for the required Cadet Summer Training (CST).

Each Cadet was officially sworn in as a Second Lieutenant (2LT) with the Oath of Office which was administered by Lieutenant Colonel (LTC) Bryce Kawaguchi. Each individual 2LT had their rank pinned on (or Velcro fastened on) their uniform by a chosen friend or family member. The first salute or more traditionally called the “Silver Dollar Salute” was performed by a non-commissioned officer of the Cadets choosing.
