Description:

Panelists will discuss what it means to be bilingual in society and how bilingualism affects individuals, societies and cultures. Topics include a discussion of the cognitive and cultural advantages of bilingualism, the challenging and exciting journey of becoming bilingual, and language myths that are widely held in monolingual societies.
