There are many ways to support the mission of the Center for African and African American Studies at the University of Colorado Boulder. The CAAAS enriches the academic landscape and fosters belonging on the Boulder campus by celebrating and showcasing the innovations and achievements of Africans, African Americans and the African diaspora.

Charitable Support

Some of our most vital support comes in the form of donations. Please consider making a gift to promote and sustain the activities, research, and student opportunities of the Center.

For every dollar of philanthropic support raised through June 30, 2026, Chancellor Philip P. DiStefano is matching up to $1 million in support to help promote the center’s continued growth and evolution as the first center of its kind at any public university in Colorado.
