We will feature the documentary, “Modoc Nation: An Untold Story of Survival” followed by the short film “This is Their Land.” Our very own Joseph Dupris (Modoc; Visiting Assistant Professor in Linguistics and Ethnic Studies) helped translate, transcribe and coached on set in Maqlaqsyals language.

After the viewing, the audience is encouraged to engage in a Q&A with Joe Dupris and the director and producer Roman Zaragoza and Michael O’Leary of “This is Their Land.” Light reception with appetizers to follow.
