Gracia's journey is rooted in a deep commitment to support and uplift others. Beginning from her days as a waitress and cashier at Denver International Airport, where she honed her interpersonal skills and ability to tackle challenges, to her present role as a Spanish-speaking Peer Mentor. Having triumphed over her own battles with postpartum depression, Gracia brings a compassionate and resilient approach to her work. Certified as a Peer Specialist in Colorado and having completed La Cocina's intensive peer-to-peer training program, she brings a wealth of experience and expertise to her role at Alma, where she serves as both a Peer Mentor and a Peer Trainer, guiding Spanish-speaking moms with empathy and understanding on their paths to healing and growth.
