Director of Finance, School of Education Student Government

Tyler is a fourth-year English major in the Secondary Humanities program. He joined the School of Education to advocate for students' needs and improve the student experience within the School of Education. Tyler is aiming to teach high school English, both in the states and abroad. He wants students to find a passion for reading or writing as means of meaning making. He would also like to travel abroad, helping foreign students learn English. He currently works as a Peer Tutor at the CU Boulder Writing Center, helping students create strong and engaging papers. In his free time, Tyler enjoys racing, running, model building/painting, and playing videogames with friends. He can’t wait to see what the School of Education Student Government achieves this year.
