Gabriella is a PhD Candidate in the Department of Geography at CU Boulder. Her dissertation research looks at Colorado's 2021 congressional redistricting process, highlighting the role that Latinx community organizations played in facilitating public participation and ultimately shaping Colorado's congressional district lines. Gabriella has been a member of the LALSC graduate research cluster since starting graduate school in 2016. She loves having a space to connect with other graduate students doing research with Latinx communities across the Americas and has been active in helping to plan and promote film and speaker series that center current events, issues and scholarship from Latin America.
