Lydia Wagenknecht is a PhD Candidate in Ethnomusicology. Her research focuses on sound and climate change in southern Chilean Patagonia. She has organized a number of music-related events through the LALSC, including presentations by Mare Advertencia Lirika, Liberato Kani, and Grupo Tlaloc. As a member of the LALSC graduate cluster, she has appreciated the opportunities to create interdisciplinary connections with fellow graduate students and build confidence in facilitating events.
