It’s time for CU Boulder instructors to submit their fall semester course reserve requests

Using the University Libraries’ course reserves service is a great way to help students save money on required texts and other course-related materials necessary for helping them succeed.

Instructors may reserve up to 10 physical items and an unlimited number of electronic items per course. Reserve items can include personal or library copies of materials.

Electronic copies of materials will continue to take precedence over physical copies. If the libraries already own rights to an electronic copy of the item you’ve requested, we will put the e-copy on hold for you in place of the physical copy.

We will keep physical course reserve items in Norlin Library.

Librarians are available to work with instructors to make sure their course reserves will work for their particular syllabus.

When you submit your request, let us know if you’d like the libraries to purchase an item as part of your reserve package, and we will look into buying this item to add to our libraries’ collection. Please note: All purchases require approval from your department’s library liaison. It can take up to two weeks for your items to become available.

Submit your fall 2021 course reserves requests now. For general questions and assistance, email reserves@colorado.edu.
