Hello and welcome to the University Libraries fall newsletter
We are committed to helping you succeed in your career and research. Here, you can find important resources, services, news and events, for both you and your students. Your department or discipline has a subject specialist librarian who can assist you in your classes or scholarly endeavors.
Help your students access the books and materials for your courses without additional financial burden. Place your materials on reserve with the Libraries.
We offer personal research consultations to help you and your students refine and focus research topics, develop successful search strategies and identify appropriate sources for academic research projects and assignments. Students can also get help through the Ask a Librarian service both in-person and through IM.
Subject librarians work with CMCI departments to build collections to support your department and they are experts on information sources and services in their subject areas. Contact your subject librarian to:
Suggest a library purchase
Discuss strategies to integrate information literacy into your courses
Consult on the most useful library tools, techniques and databases for your research
