University Libraries
The University Libraries system includes Norlin Library and five branch
libraries, including the William M. White Business Library, the Jerry
Crail Johnson Earth Sciences Library, the Leonard H. Gemmil Engineering
Library, the Oliver C. Lester Library of Mathematics and Physics, and
the Music Library. A Law Library is located in and administered by the
School of Law.
University Libraries has the largest library collection in the Rocky Mountain
region, with more than 11 million books, periodicals, government publications,
microforms, audiovisual materials, maps, manuscripts, papers, artifacts,
and computer-based resources. These materials can be accessed by means
of Chinook, an online catalog system.
Nine new team technology rooms in Norlin Library, the business library,
and the engineering library give students the opportunity to use electronic
equipment and computer software to prepare class presentations and projects.
