University Libraries

The University Libraries system includes Norlin Library and five branch libraries, including the William M. White Business Library, the Jerry Crail Johnson Earth Sciences Library, the Leonard H. Gemmil Engineering Library, the Oliver C. Lester Library of Mathematics and Physics, and the Music Library. A Law Library is located in and administered by the School of Law.

University Libraries has the largest library collection in the Rocky Mountain region, with more than 11 million books, periodicals, government publications, microforms, audiovisual materials, maps, manuscripts, papers, artifacts, and computer-based resources. These materials can be accessed by means of Chinook, an online catalog system.

Nine new team technology rooms in Norlin Library, the business library, and the engineering library give students the opportunity to use electronic equipment and computer software to prepare class presentations and projects.
