ChooseCU is a personalized tool for admitted undergraduates. From now until you join us on campus, use ChooseCU to continue exploring the opportunities available to you and keep track of what needs to be done before your first semester begins.
Getting Started with ChooseCU
ChooseCU is designed for undergraduate freshman and transfer students who have been accepted to the University of Colorado at Boulder. A personalized log in (called an IdentiKey) is automatically created for students two to three business days after they have been offered admission. If you've received your acceptance packet or found out through the application status site that you've been accepted, go to Logging In.
Why you should use ChooseCU?
ChooseCU will be one of your main contacts with the university until you attend orientation and start classes. Information in the channels will change based on your status and announcements will be posted to notify you of upcoming deadlines and current CU-Boulder news. It is set up so that you can continue to explore academic opportunities, find out how to confirm your enrollment, sign up for a campus visit, apply for housing, track the status of your financial aid, learn about orientation, and keep a checklist of what you need to do before you join us on campus.
Logging In
In order to log in, ChooseCU requires an IdentiKey and that cookies be enabled on your browser. For more information on logging in, see Logging In.
Navigating ChooseCU
Each page, or tab, within ChooseCU is oriented toward a collection of information and services by category (Welcome, Academics, Housing, Orientation, Finances, Student Life and Visit). Most of the tabs are divided into columns, and each column contains channels which are unique features within ChooseCU where specific information or a specific service appear. ChooseCU channel examples include Announcements, My Checklist, Your Status, and the Academic Calendar.
