Estimated Tuition and Costs

Costs to attend CU-Boulder are similar to many other Colorado four-year public institutions. The Fiske Guide to Colleges 2007 designates CU-Boulder as one of the country’s "best buys" in public higher education.

The figures listed below are estimates based on a single undergraduate student enrolled in the College of Arts and Sciences for two semesters (fall and spring) of full-time attendance.

Financial Aid

To apply for financial aid, you must submit the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) for the appropriate academic year as soon as possible. If you completed the FAFSA but did not list CU-Boulder on it, go to the FAFSA website and add CU-Boulder (federal school code 001370) by submitting a correction to your FAFSA information.

The priority deadline for financial aid consideration at CU-Boulder is April 1. After April 1, CU-Boulder continues to offer aid as long as funds are available. You may submit the FAFSA to apply for the federal Pell grant, federal Stafford loan, or federal PLUS (parent) loan throughout the academic year.

Call the Office of Financial Aid at 303-492-5091 or visit the website for more information.

Apply for Scholarships

The best way to find and apply for CU-Boulder scholarships is by using your CU-Boulder PIN to access our online application. You can begin to apply for CU-Boulder scholarhips beginning November 1 and before the March 1 scholarship deadline. Some scholarship deadlines may be earlier. To read more about scholarships or to view and print an application, go to the scholarship services website.
