I have been teaching at CU for more than 20 years, and I have been with SASC for about a decade. My undergraduate degree was in Political Science, after which I worked in politics for a couple of years, and then headed back to graduate school to study Rhetoric. Working with SASC students has been one of the most gratifying experiences of my professional life, and it is a privilege to be part of this community.

I’m a first-generation college student who has been teaching in higher education for more than 20 years. My educational background includes Political Science, Rhetoric, and Philosophy. In my time with SASC I have taught classes in Writing and Rhetoric, Education, Leadership, and Humanities, and all of my courses focus on social justice issues and rhetorical strategies.
