Religious Studies
Palchen Gyal is from eastern Tibet. He completed his undergraduate degree in the field of Tibetan medicine at the Tibetan Medical College of the Qinghai University, China. He is currently pursuing a master’s degree in religious studies at University of Colorado Boulder. His interests include Buddhist tantric healing rituals as a way to see the historical and contemporary interaction between Tibetan Buddhism and medicine.
