The Provost works collaboratively with the faculty in the exercise of shared governance of the university.
The Boulder Faculty Assembly (BFA) represents the Boulder Campus Faculty Senate in its role as a participant in the shaping of the structure and development of the University of Colorado at Boulder, in keeping with the ideals set forth in the campus mission and role statements.
The University of Colorado Faculty Council is the executive body of the Faculty Senate, and as such initiates advice and recommendations to the president or other appropriate administrative officials for submission to the Board of Regents on matters within the jurisdiction of the Council which are related to educational policy, internal operations and external operation of the university.
