Our partnership program in electrical and computer engineering provides students with foundational knowledge of electrical engineering, with added emphasis on computer software and hardware. Students are able to apply their knowledge to a range of careers and industries. The first two years of the program are taught by CMU faculty, and the second two years of engineering courses are taught by CU Boulder faculty who live permanently in Grand Junction.

Academic Plan & Requirements

Students interested in the partnership program should apply for admission to CMU directly as a first-year or transfer student. After about two years at CMU, students then apply to CU Boulder through an expedited admissions process.

Our objectives for students in the partnership program include:

The CMU partnership follows a similar hands-on curriculum to CU Boulder. Students complete a yearlong senior design project their final year.
