Postbaccalaureate BS in Applied Computer Science

The online degree in applied computer science is for professionals with a bachelor’s degree who are looking to make a career pivot, advance their career and deepen their knowledge of computer science. Our online courses match the curriculum of our on-campus courses. Students can start any semester.  

The postbaccalaureate degree in applied computer science is designed for professionals who already have a bachelor’s degree and would benefit from a computer science degree. The program is available only online and provides students with strong skills in computing and information technology that can be applied within a variety of business or research contexts. Students learn from instructors who are industry leaders and researchers, and have a deep knowledge of the classes they teach.

Academic Plan & Requirements

The postbaccalaureate degree in applied computer science consists of 45 credit hours of computer science courses. Students can start any term—spring, summer or fall—and can study from anywhere in the world. The program recommends working students follow a 2- to 3-year plan.
