Bio

Yá’át’ééh! (Hello!) My name is Monique Harvey. I am a proud Diné Aszdáá (Navajo Woman) from Teec Nos Pos, Arizona. I began my career journey by working with Johns Hopkins University as a Research Assistant as part of the Infectious Disease team that later carved my path into higher education in working with a scholarship organizations and with pre-collegiate programs within the great state of Colorado. During my free time, I enjoy traveling, hiking the great rocky mountains, and getting ice coffee when I can.

Favorite Spot Around CU Campus

One of my favorite spots on campus is at the corner of Norlin Library and Eaton Humanities Building, near Pleasant Street. The view of the beautiful Flatirons is mesmerizing, and every time I walk by, it feels like the first time. It's also conveniently close to my favorite campus coffee shop, Pekoe.
