Areione Hubbart
Advancement Coordinator, College of Arts and Sciences

Areione Hubbart is the Advancement Coordinator embedded in the College of Arts and Sciences, Graduate School, and University Libraries. Areione is a proud CU alumna having graduated in May 2022 with a bachelor’s degree in Biology, and a minor in Chemistry and Psychology. The University of Colorado has been a major part of her academic and professional experience. Areione worked at CU Denver Office of Research Development and Education, and as a Learning Assistant for the College of Liberal Arts & Sciences. Areione is passionate about serving her community and having a positive impact on people. She served as the President of the Biology Club, President of the Black Student Alliance, Student Representative on the Committee for Racial and Ethnic Equity, and Student Representative of the College of Liberal Arts and Sciences Educational Policies and Curriculum Committee.

Areione was born and raised in Denver Colorado and currently resides in Lakewood. Outside of work Areione enjoys cooking, spending time with her family, trying new restaurants, and watching Netflix. Some of her favorite TV and movie genres are mystery, romance, drama, and reality! Her favorite cuisine and food genres include Latin, Soul Food, Asian, and Mediterranean. A fun fact about her is that she is a Debutante!
