Founder and CEO of Lunar Outpost Inc, Mr. Cyrus has led his company to historic contract wins in the field of space resources and robotics. Recent accomplishments include the first ever sale of lunar resources to NASA and an ongoing contract to assist with the first ever space resource demonstration on Mars as part of the Perseverance mission. In addition, Mr. Cyrus has just led Lunar Outpost to deliver a fully space flight ready rover on a NASA contract in record time.
At Lunar Outpost, Mr. Cyrus is focused on bringing the immeasurable benefits that space has to offer to Earth to fundamentally change the way we live. Prior to Lunar Outpost, Mr. Cyrus worked for Lockheed Martin in various positions gaining valuable experience specifically in DoD spacecraft and ground-station implementation. Mr. Cyrus holds M.S. Degrees in Electrical Engineering and Space Resources from Colorado School of Mines, and a B.S. Degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering from the University of Colorado Boulder. Mr. Cyrus also holds professional certifications in Project Management.
