Traditional Master's & Professional Master's Advising
The Aerospace Engineering Sciences MS and PhD programs are based on collaborative environments and hands-on, team-based learning that encourages innovative research, inquiry, and exploration.
Graduate programs in Smead Aerospace are organized into the following five focus areas:
- Astrodynamics and Satellite Navigation Systems (ASN)
- Autonomous Systems (AUT)
- Bioastronautics (Bio)
- Fluids, Structures and Materials (FSM)
- Remote Sensing, Earth and Space Science (RSESS)
Graduate students are admitted into a focus area, which provides research advising and sets specific program requirements. By specializing in an academic focus, you strengthen your connection with a primary advisor and are with other like-minded students in the department.
