Jennifer has worked in career services for 25+ years, 18 of which have been dedicated to alumni career services. Before coming to CU Boulder, she worked at the University of Texas at Austin, Southwestern University (TX) and Bowling Green State University (OH). Jennifer’s expertise is in career coaching and counseling, as well as creating and facilitating programs and webinars related to job search and career transition. Jennifer holds an M.A. in Higher Education and Student Affairs from Bowling Green State University and a B.S. in Clothing and Textiles from Kansas State University.
Although Jennifer has spent the majority of her time in university and alumni career services, she has prior experience in corporate retail management & buying, university admissions & recruitment, university student affairs, residence life and Greek life. She has facilitated career networking and etiquette dinners and taught undergraduate courses in career planning & development. Outside of the office, Jennifer enjoys college football, creating pottery, singing, hiking, antique stores & flea markets, wine tasting, and traveling internationally.
