Sara Abdulla first came to CU as an international transfer student in Fall 2010 to study Psychology and Environmental Studies. Prior to joining the Events and Outreach team, Sara’s background was primarily focused in environmental education. Her get-it-done philosophy, and event experience working for international film festivals, lead Sara back to CU in summer 2018 to manage the student outreach program and advise the Herd Leadership Council. Originally from Dubai, U.A.E., Sara brings a unique perspective to student programming at CU Boulder. She is a proud CU alumna and has a Master’s degree from the University of Denver. Sara met her husband, Ryan, in an environmental writing seminar their senior year at CU. They are now happily married Buffs living in Littleton with their daughter, Serene.
