Dialogue with CU custodial staff members

Alumni (Anthropology Ph.D. 2007), Carol Conzelman awarded an 2022-23 Dialogues Faculty Fellow with CU Engage.  The CU Dialogues Faculty Fellowship aims to encourage CU Boulder faculty to incorporate dialogue principles and practices into their courses by providing resources and support for Fellows to develop dialogue-based pedagogy while also building a cohort of practitioners.

Professor Cozelmen is currently teaching anthropology courses as an Associate Teaching Professor with the Global Studies RAP here at CU Boulder.  She feels this fellowship is the ideal opportunity for her to deepen her understanding of this important concept and to improve the ways that she integrates dialogue into her classes.  She will also highlight the unique context of teaching in a RAP which emphasizes building connection and community within a large university. And in the Global Studies RAP especially, her goal is to increase student connection with peers from other cultures and backgrounds plus the CU custodial staff in order to gain an international perspective right here on campus.
