Graduate student, Chu May Paing, participated in the virtual film festival the Cinemas of Ideas organized by Independent Film Office in UK under her artist name Ma Chinthe. She recited a series of poems written in Burmese and also participated in a Roundtable discussion on fragmented Burmese Identities in the diaspora as part of the film festival.
Both the poetry Recital and Roundtable in addition to six films on Burma can be streamed until Feb 26th on The Cinema of Ideas
Festival is free but donations are encouraged and will go to the Myanmar Civil Disobedience Movement.
