Chilton Tippin (Cultural Anthropology, PhD Candidate) successfully defended both his qualifying exam and research prospectus entitled, "Defending Multiple Waters: Water Insecurity, the State, and Placemaking in the Rio Grande/Bravo Watershed." His committe consisted of Professors Jerry Jacka, Donna Goldsteing, Alison Cool Scott Ortmann, and Eric Perramond. He now advances to PhD candidacy.
