Adi Prakash (PhD Cultural Anthropology in Progress) awarded an Center for Humanities and the Arts (CHA) Summer Fellowship. Adi will use the funding for his pre-dissertation research studying environmentalism, politics, and language revitalisation among the Lepcha in Sikkim and West Bengal, India. His research brings together a combination of cultural and linguistic anthropology and documentary film to understand the phenomenological underpinnings that inform Lepcha ontology and life.
