MichaelOrellana (Biological Anthropology, PhD in Progress)

I am a PhD student at CU Boulder, specializing in the biological diversity of Latin American populations. Over the past ten years, I have explored how historical processes have shaped the genetic structure of mixed Chilean populations. Currently, my research focuses on how introgression impacts genetic and phenotypical characteristics on South American Camelids and Native American populations.
