I am interested in the magnetic fields over the solar photosphere, mainly in the quiet Sun. Despite the low magnetic energy compared to active regions, the role of the quiet Sun in the global energy balance has already been demonstrated. And even today, after more than three decades of research, there are still many unresolved questions on this subject.

To study the magnetism of the quiet Sun, I use codes that solve the radiative transfer equation. Through them and spectropolarimetric observations I can obtain the magnetic and thermal properties of the solar atmosphere. I find the solar poles very interesting. I plan to study them using the new instrumentation (mainly DKIST and Solar Orbiter).
