Evan Blackstock is a Denver based artist with experience in digital fabrication, metal fabrication, welding, woodworking, and blacksmithing. As lab coordinator, he oversees the Metal Shop, the CNC router, and the digital fabrication lab. In 2017, he joined the board of the Rocky Mountain Smiths, an organization for blacksmiths in the Rocky Mountain region. Evan has taught numerous workshops at the Anderson Ranch Arts Center, and assists with a variety of sculpture and foundations classes working in the metal shop each semester. He often serves as a technical consultant for students and faculty working on fabrication projects.

Evan graduated from the University of Colorado at Boulder with a Bachelor of Arts degree, and a Technology Arts and Media certificate. In addition to being a passionate maker, Evan enjoys doing large format photography, archery, backpacking, and traveling in his restored Volkswagen Vanagon.
