Ceramics
Natalie Thedford is an artist from East Tennessee. She utilizes aesthetics and techniques related to fiber crafts in her highly textured, ceramic compositions. By translating imagery of fiber crafts from something soft and flexible, into a material which, once fired, is hard, rigid and enduring, she gives space for further consideration of this women's work. Natalie has a BFA in 3D Art from the University of Tennessee. She has exhibited her work nationally, throughout Tennessee and Northern California. Natalie is currently pursuing her Masters of Fine Art in Art Practices from the University of Colorado, Boulder.
