Giving in Action: ALTEC

Every gift to the Anderson Language and Technology Center (ALTEC) makes a difference. Your donation helps our students succeed, opens avenues for innovation, and funds initiatives that benefits our communities among numerous other avenues that matter most to our donors, students or faculty.

ALTEC has experienced great growth over the last few years, from starting a free language tutoring program to increasing our language classes two-fold, we are committed to our mission to broaden and deepen cultural understanding through innovative approaches to language learning and teaching. These efforts, in addition to supporting the Modified Foreign Language Program, hosting lively language events in our community space, The HIVE, and more, would not have been possible without your support. Donors like you allow us to empower the next generation of language learners, educators and global citizens. From all of us at ALTEC, thank you.

TB: Giving in Action Student Quote - ALTEC

I have nothing but great things to say about this program. I was very worried about having to take a language class in college as it has never come easy to me. This program made learning Spanish easy, interactive, and fun. I feel like all of my professors really cared about their students and were very respectful of the different ways students learned. I feel like for the first time I can actually comprehend, write and read Spanish. I also really enjoyed that for all three semesters I had most of the same people in my class, which really built a sense of community.
