Admitted students wishing to change majors must do so through the Office of Admissions. You can log into your application status page, and there you should see an option to submit a major change request form. Please complete that form to be considered. Major changes are not guaranteed, and there are typically additional steps needed when requesting to change from one college or school into another. If you already changed your major once and are trying to request a second major change, please contact your admissions counselor.
We love to see that you are eager to engage with us! However, we are not able to offer academic advising appointments to admitted students. You will be assigned to an academic advisor and can access advising appointments after you have confirmed your intent to enroll and officially matriculated (i.e. you transition from being an admitted student to being an incoming student). Please rest assured that there will be plenty of time to connect with your assigned advisor for specific advising after you matriculate!
If you have more general questions about the College of Arts & Sciences and its programs that you want to discuss with someone, you can schedule an appointment with Arts & Sciences Recruitment (contact thecollege@colorado.edu if the appointment calendar appears to be blank). Please note that the Recruitment team are not academic advisors. They are not able to assist with more specific topics such as course selection, degree planning, etc.
If you are a newly admitted transfer student, you can schedule an advising appointment with Pre-Transfer Advising.
