Isaiah Fuentes

Isaiah Fuentes is an undergraduate student studying Psychology and Pre-Health with a minor in Ethnic Studies and a Certificate in Care, Health, and Resilience. He is a Student Pedagogical Partner with ASSETT, co-developing Genes to Gender, a course for the Miramontes Arts and Sciences Program that bridges biology and sociology while fostering community among students.
Previously, Isaiah was a student mentor with the Renée Crown Wellness Institute’s Mindful Campus Program, where he helped students from marginalized identities engage in mindfulness practices to support their well-being. He also currently works at the Center for Inclusion and Social Change where he helps lead various forms of intercultural engagement. Beyond his academic and professional roles, he is involved in Tau Psi Omega Fraternity, Inc., the Latiné Student Alliance, and UMAS y Mecha; each where he works to promote cultural awareness and community engagement.
With aspirations of attending medical school, Isaiah is committed to advancing health equity and addressing systemic barriers that disproportionately impact marginalized communities. His passion for creating a more equitable and inclusive future is evident in his dedication to mental health advocacy, student mentorship, and interdisciplinary education. He strives to create spaces where individuals from all backgrounds feel seen, supported, and empowered.
