With a background in architecture, Neill Shikada is synthesizing his spatial thinking with digital technologies to craft virtual experiences. He graduated from the University of Florida with a Bachelor of Design in architecture, and he hopes to use his experience to push past the limits of solely-physical spatial design. He is interested in the relationship of the tactility of art with the potential for integrated digital mediums, such as AR, VR and robotics. His focus is on the use of these technologies to craft more compelling and equitable designs with a craftsmanship that extends from his expertise in oil painting. Neill champions a form of design that respects the balance between our virtual and physical realities.
