Pendulum New Music

The 2019-2020 Pendulum New Music concert series continues in February with a packed program performed in the ATLAS Black Box, including special guest composer Elainie Lillios. We also welcome back the Ivalas Quartet and the 7th annual 64-Bit Competition.
Supported by an endowment from Loretta Cummings and Mick Garrett, the 64-Bit Competition includes six original compositions selected from entries in two categories—EDM and Experimental.

Contestants in this high-energy event are all CU Boulder students, but none are enrolled in a music composition program. Works are no longer than 64 seconds and winners of the two cash awards are selected by live audience vote. Come join us for a fun evening of original sounds and artful performance, and to help pick this year’s 64-Bit winners!
