Auxiliary Services structural changes
Brian Groves, assistant vice chancellor for auxiliary and business operations, will join the FBS leadership team and begin reporting directly to chief financial officer Todd Haggerty, effective July 1, 2023. In an announcement shared with FBS staff on June 28, Haggerty stated that Groves will continue to lead Finance and Business Strategy’s Auxiliary Services departments, which includes the CU Book Store, Children’s Center, Imaging Services, and Parking Services.
Groves previously reported to associate vice chancellor for business strategy, Derek Silva. Silva will continue to oversee CU Boulder’s Real Estate Services office and serve as executive director of the CU Boulder Enterprise Corporation. Additionally, the FBS capital finance team will begin reporting to Silva, also effective July 1.
“These changes will strengthen collaboration opportunities across all FBS units and elevate the needs and contributions of Auxiliary Services,” said Haggerty. "I‘d like to sincerely thank Brian and all of the Auxiliary Services teams for their patience and the spirit of possibility with which they are approaching these changes."
