We currently have 17 fire positions open on USAjobs that will be closing on November 26th. We have over 150 non-fire positions that will be open December 1st-11th. The White River National Partnership is also partnering with different organizations to offer a variety of resource assistant positions and summer internships. Apply NOW for 2021 FIRE JOBS

Apply now through Nov. 26, 2020 for 17 temporary wildfire positions on the White River National Forest, including firefighters (called forestry technicians or aids), helitack crew members, and dispatchers. The positions are based in Grand Junction, Rifle, Eagle and Silverthorne. Offers will be made in January with the season typically beginning in April and ending in October, depending on weather and funding.

Upcoming NON_FIRE JOBS for 2021 Season:  

Apply Dec. 1-11, 2020 for more than 150 non-fire temporary positions at White River National Forest in 2021. These jobs include customer service; recreation; wilderness and trails; biological technicians in wildlife, fisheries, forestry and botany; range management; and equipment operators. Locations include Aspen, Carbondale, Eagle, Glenwood Springs, Meeker, Minturn, and Silverthorne.
