CSU Professional Science Master's Program accepting applications
The Professional Science Master’s (PSM) program within the Department of Ecosystem Science and Sustainability at Colorado State University is accepting applications for the Fall 2025 cohort!
This program offers several focus areas, including a new track in Climate Adaptation and Risk Management, as well as Carbon Management, Sustainable Food Systems, and Water Resources – all of which could be a perfect fit for students interested in applied sciences and making a tangible impact.
Graduates consistently share that they value the non-thesis structure of our program, which allows them to fully dedicate their time and effort to mastering analytical and technical sustainability skills through comprehensive coursework and a 400-hour (nearly always paid!) internship experience. Feedback from both alumni and current students highlights the excitement of completing the program in just three semesters plus an internship, enabling them to launch into rewarding careers sooner. The skills gained here provide a strong advantage for securing high-paying positions and engaging in meaningful work that makes a real impact.
To make applying as accessible as possible, CSU is offering free application days in December and January.
