We know college is an investment, which is why we want to help you understand the cost of college, as well as the value of a degree. We believe all students should enter college knowing the cost of a degree. The CU Boulder Undergraduate Tuition Guarantee offers predictability and transparency of tuition costs for four years from your first term of enrollment. Differences in tuition tiers below reflect differences in the cost of instruction.

A Word About Cost of Attendance: Tuition and fees are just one part of the overall cost to attend CU Boulder. The full cost of attendance for an academic year could include expenses such as on-campus housing and food, books and supplies, and items that are not billed by the university, such as personal expenses, transportation and medical insurance. The housing and food allowance determined by the Office of Financial Aid and the Colorado Department of Higher Education is $9,603, which is based on an average of rates for a CU Boulder residence hall room and 19 meals plus an extra weekly food allowance. Your actual housing and food cost on campus may be more or less depending on your selections. Please see more housing options.
