Julie Waggoner has been working to connect the Leeds School of Business with the sustainable business community since 2018. She is passionate about helping students discover how they can use business skills to make a positive difference in the world, and about integrating equity and sustainability practices into everything CESR does. While at CESR, she has worked on a variety of initiatives including leading CESR's marketing, reporting, budget management, and data management, supporting the CESR Faculty Affiliates Program, developing the Natural & Organic and Clean Energy MBA Pathways, expanding CESR's executive education offerings, and building relationships with the business community. She was a leading contributor to a research project supporting B Lab’s SDG Action Manager, a corporate sustainability management tool that helps companies track their contributions to the UN Sustainable Development Goals, for which CESR won the first-ever Best for Colorado Collaborative Award from The Alliance Center.

Julie’s background includes experience in digital marketing, natural products, international education, and international development. She graduated magna cum laude from Western Washington University with a B.A. in journalism and French. Julie grew up in Boulder and holds an MBA focused in sustainability and marketing, along with a Certificate in Corporate Social Responsibility from the Leeds School of Business. When she's not working, Julie enjoys getting outside, traveling, reading, and spending time with her son, her partner, and her dog.
