Ali Jafarzadeh

Ali Jafarzadeh is a PhD candidate in Finance at the Leeds School of Business, University of Colorado Boulder. His research studies why growth and economic outcomes diverge across firms and local economies, with a focus on innovation, institutions, and finance. His work combines large-scale historical and modern datasets with computational and machine-learning methods. He expects to be on the academic job market in 2027–2028.
