Yazzmynn is a first-generation college graduate, CU Boulder alumna, and Daniels Scholar. Yazzmynn earned her bachelor's degree in finance and business management. She is pursuing her master's in leadership for educational organizations at CU Denver. Having experience in both academic affairs and student affairs, Yazzmynn prefers to work collaboratively across campus to remove barriers for underserved students and improve student success across the institution and higher education. Yazzmynn was born to Mexican immigrants and grew up in Aurora, Colorado with her five siblings. During her free time, Yazzmynn loves to cook, play volleyball, and listen to true crime podcasts.
