The Leeds School of Business is proud to announce Associate Professor of Organizational Leadership and Information Analytics Dr. Stefanie K. Johnson was recognized by Thinkers50 as one of the top 30 thought leaders in management for 2020.

According to Thinkers50, a London-based organization dedicated to providing access to innovative and leading management ideas, Dr. Johnson is the “authoritative voice on inclusivity and diversity,” and the award is reflective of her dedication to gender equity in the workplace. Their findings highlight her studies of how unconscious bias affects the evaluation of leaders and how to develop strategies to mitigate bias.

Dr. Johnson’s work has an extensive reach, including contributions in academic journals such as Journal of Applied Psychology, Academy of Management Journal and the Organizational Behavior and Human Decision Processes. Johnson’s work has also been published in media outlets such as Harvard Business Review, The Economist, Newsweek, Time, Wall Street Journal, and Bloomberg Businessweek, among others. Additionally, she has presented her work at more than 170 meetings around the world and at the White House for a 2016 summit on diversity in corporate America.

Johnson’s new book Inclusify will be released by Harper Collins in June and was named as a must-read for “all managers who want to build diverse and happy teams” by Business Insider and is #15 on Amazon’s Hot New Releases.
