Jennifer Wood is a research associate in the Autonomous Vehicle Systems (AVS) laboratory. She holds a MS degree in Aerospace Engineering Sciences and a ME degree in Computer Science, both from University of Colorado - Boulder. She is the primary developer of Vizard, a Unity3D-based application that allows users of the Basilisk simulation environment to see their simulations rendered in 3D and VR. The goal of her work is to convey as much information about a simulation as possible in a visual and intuitive manner. She supports the expanding research interests of Basilisk users in areas as diverse as optical navigation, machine learning, and spacecraft operations training.
