    1. An additional $197.80 was approved by budgetary member vote for the Elijah McClain event.

    2. Speakers Discussion - Chidera

      1. ISS Potential Collaboration

        1. Best way to explain: this is the CWA but of sports

          1. It is a conference through the REC

          2. Last years topic was privilege

          3. Focus on advocacy

        2. Appears we would probably be fielding a large portion of the total cost.

        3. WNBA - is a large population, who are we looking at specifically?

        4. SF 3rd woman to kick at college football

          3. Are there any specific parameters that they want to follow?

          4. This was the first meeting to discuss; want to have an event at the end of March; potentially wanted to bring trans athletes

    7. Strategies to garner large audience

      1. Pre Recording and release 

        1. Track their views and asking to track views

      2. Work closely with Maya with regards to marketing

      3. Expedite a social media campaign

        1. Teasers for speakers - who they are & what they talk about

      4. Inquire about mini workshop events meant to promote - would they still like to do that?

      5. Use CSI as a resource, utilize all the resources!

        1. Let’s supply them contacts

      6. Specify a cutoff date (for ourselves) to determine the amount of views relevant for us to decide if the event was successful. So for example, if we decided the cutoff was 48 hours after the event, that's when we would stop counting views

      7. Maybe we can act with some grace, and not hold too many parameters around views; but this is a permanent video online that will continue to garner views for a long period of time

        1. If we aren’t happy with number of views, then we can ask they continue to advertise past from the due date

      8. Recommend more platforms for posting (e.g. Periscope, CU website, even the CEB website)

      1. Updates: Signed the docusign document for the meeting. Just waiting for advertisement materials
