Questions
Considering that this is the same event that was proposed last semester, what measures are being taken to avoid the issues that stopped this event from happening this semester?
Biggest reason that stopped this year’s yardshow was due to miscommunication with the Homecoming committee. This time they have settled on a date that works for multiple organizations.
A large portion of your marketing from last semester was somewhat dependent on being a part of Homecoming. How will you ensure that there is still a large turnout without that factor?
Advertising through the university
Also relying on historic turnout
How will you ensure that this event is open to and targeted towards the general student body
Open house is part of the homecoming lineup
Marketing via other university resources
Tabling in the UMC
Discussion
Different from the upcoming open house event
Suggest more measures to invite non-MGC students- mentioned a lot of ideas for MGC affiliated members but would encourage ideas for non-MGC affiliated
